Magnetic Island
This great introduction to the beautiful Magnetic Island awaits you, giving you the opportunity to visit all the major sights including one or two secret spots some locals don’t even know about.
Your local tour guide will provide friendly, entertaining commentary covering history, geography, flora, fauna and what life is like on an island in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, as you tour the scenic roads and byways of the stunning Island.
Magnetic island is a wildlife lovers paradise. There are about 800 wild koalas to find and you’ll probably see some wallabies lazing in the sun. The island has over 180 identified bird species and 141 fish species locally. Throw in some sightings of whales in Cleveland Bay during the winter months and you are unlikely to be disappointed, though we can never guarantee sightings.
Lunch is self-catered and you are provided 1 hour’s free time at the most popular spot on the Island, beautiful Horseshoe Bay, where food, drink and ice cream are available from a selection of good eateries. There is a spot to swim too!
